Coral-List Colleagues,
We are happy to advertise a special conference session, "Seaweeds in a Changing World," during the upcoming Association for the Sciences of Limnology & Oceanography (ASLO) meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA from March 26-31, 2025. The conference theme, “Taking the Aquatic Pulse,” aligns perfectly with our session's focus on the role of seaweeds amid global environmental changes, including algal blooms and phase shifts on coral reefs. More details about our session can be found at https://www.aslo.org/charlotte-2025/session-list/ under session SS32. An open call for abstracts remains until October 21, 2024, and direct submission information can be found at https://www.aslo.org/charlotte-2025/registration-information/. During the registration process, make sure to select special session SS32 Seaweeds in a Changing World when uploading your abstract.
There are also a few other sessions that may be of interest to phycologists and those working with microalgae. We look forward to meeting up with all attendees and showing strong representation for seaweeds at the upcoming ASLO meeting in North Carolina.
See you there,
