To coincide with World Ocean Day, Project Seagrass (a UK based marine conservation charity) have released their citizen science project SeagrassSpotter.org globally.
If you have Seagrass at your research or dive sites please help Project Seagrass by submitting photos to Seagrassspotter.org
To date only a small proportion of the worlds seagrasses have been mapped. The major gaps in this global distribution are mostly in the tropics, so coral reef scientists are well placed to help by contributing data and sightings.
Please get involved with our project and help provide much needed data on the worlds Seagrass ecosystems.
Thanks
