[Coral-List] Status of Coral Reefs of the World: 2008

To the Listers

 

What are the key references on coral reef research, management,
conservation and philosophy?

 

We are in the final stages of compiling Status of Coral Reefs of the
World: 2008 and will list about 60 to 100 of the references we recommend
for the non-coral reef expert.

 

Please provide your list of 5 to 10 (full citation please) with an
emphasis on books, reports and papers from 2005 to now.  We will also
include some of the older classic books and reference material (the
Spalding Atlas, Reefs @ Risk, USCRTF reports, the books by Birkeland,
Dubinsky, Sale, Veron, Bowen, Sapp, Davidson, Salm etc etc).

 

We wish to finalise this list in the next few days please.
