[Coral-List] Manta tow for recreational use

Hello,

I suppose that everyone here are aware of the Manta Tow, a device which is 
pulled by a boat with a diver grabbed on and used for assess coral reefs in 
some places of the world.

I wonder if some one could let me know if this is used for recreational 
purposes anywhere and if there are some study on its impact on the 
environment and/or security of the users.
