[Coral-List] Dive Tourism in Latin America

Hola a todos,

I hope I find all of you well.

In an effort to promote marine conservation in Latin America, I am on the
trail to find out more information on dive tourism in Latin America, whether
it be on the Pacific or Caribbean/Atlantic side. At present my only source
is the "Reefs at Risk in the Caribbean" document which does tell me that the
net annual revenue for dive tourism in 2000 was an estimated 2.1 billion
USD. While I haven't searched through Reefbase.org as of yet, I was hoping
to ask our coral reef community if there was a respected source that could
provide me with specific information and numbers for dive tourism for each
country in Central America as well as South America if at all possible.
