Hi Peter,
As Lex Barron mentioned, I recommend you visit the Marine Photobank.
Our collection highlights pressing ocean conservation issues in order
to visually engage audiences. Images are available for non-commercial,
conservation efforts. The success of the Marine Photobank is based on
the generous contributions of our professional and amateur
photographers, researchers (including Lex Barron and other
coral-listers), conservationists and general public who have
contributed their images with the understanding that they will be used
for non-commercial purposes at no cost.
Since you are a for-profit entity, I recommend you review the gallery
thumbnails and indicate images of interest. If you find any images
that you would like to use, I can approach the photographers and see if
they will grant you permission to use for your good intentions. Please
note that thumbnail images are viewable without a membership. Simply
copy (or drag) thumbnail images of interest into an email and send
along to me for reference.
If other Coral-Listers are in the same situation, feel free to contact
me and I will do what I can to help you as well.
Take care,
Reuven Walder

The Marine Photobank is a leading visual resource that has galvanized
people from all over the planet to collect, share and download marine
photos, images and graphics that shed light on how humans have affected
life in the ocean. The Marine Photobank was founded in response to a
lack of readily available, high quality underwater and above water
ocean conservation images. These images are available at no cost for
non-commercial purposes as well as for media use.

Listers,
We are a recreational dive centre on the east coast of peninsula
Malaysia.
We are introducing a free, twice weekly educational presentation to
introduce the local marine life to tourists and heighten our concerns
about
the rapidly degrading coral reef ecosystems.
We have a shortage of imagery. Are any listers able to provide digital
pictures (or short movies) to include into a projected powerpoint show?
Files can be emailed to images at watercolours.com.my
Credit can be given to those contributing. I also welcome pointers to
any
online databases providing quality imagery? Images on the web tend to
be
too small and low-res for our needs.
