foraging of herbivorous fish

Dear Coral-listers,
Does anyone know of any literature on the influence of food patchiness on
the grazing efficiency (rate) of herbivorous fish? For example, how does
algal patch size and distribution affect the likelihood of a patch being
grazed by parrotfish?
I've made a fairly thorough search of the literature but haven't found
anything explicitly on this spatial issue. Any feedback would be gratefully
received.
Best wishes,
Pete
