Re - Black growth at Bengkulu

     Regarding Bayu Ludvianto's enquiry.  I doubt the animal in question is
     a soft coral.  It sounds more like a species of the sponge genus
     Iotrochota.  Perhaps I. baculifera.  Be aware the purple exudate can
     cause painful skin irritations.
